About X4Fix
X4Fix is a local marketplace for home repair and maintenance. Customers post a service request or look up providers nearby; providers get the requests that match their services and service area.
Why we built it
Finding someone reliable for a small job at home usually means asking around, calling numbers that don't answer, and explaining the same leak to five different people.
Providers have the opposite problem: their time goes on chasing leads that are too far away or outside the work they do, and on directories that charge for a better spot.
X4Fix matches the two sides by service and by area. A customer describes the job once. The providers who do that work nearby receive it, and the ones who want it accept it and start a chat. Nobody pays to be shown first.
How X4Fix works

Every provider who accepts opens a chat with you; an estimate may come with it.

Requests in your services and area come to you.
Accept and send an estimate
Accepting opens a chat with the customer; an estimate is optional.
Get hired, finish, collect reviews
When a customer hires you, do the job and collect their review.
What we stand for
- Reviews on X4Fix come only from customers whose service request the provider accepted, within 90 days of that acceptance.
- Providers are ordered by a published rule. No one can pay for placement, in the provider list or in Top rated.
- Anyone can report a provider, and any signed-in user can flag a review for us to check.
